He also added, that the project would facilitate import and export business for MODON’s partners located in the industrial cities, which would contribute to raising the rate of national exports, noting that this is a first step towards enhancing investments in this important field within the logistics system in cities. Industrial.

This also comes within the framework of MODON’s strategy to empower the industry and contribute to increasing local content, and within its initiatives in the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program “Ndaleb”.

He continued, that the new project benefited from the logistical solutions product provided by MODON to its partners in the industrial cities, which is lands distributed in major regions in Saudi Arabia that allow storage, and are stations for distributing goods, which are considered to be suitable for heavy traffic.

Also, he pointed out that the partnership that brings together “MODON” with the public and private sectors aims to establish an integrated industrial environment with services, which contributes to creating the optimal climate for the localization of value-added investments, in addition to opening the way for national industries to advance and expand regionally and globally within the framework of The “Made in Saudi Arabia” program, as well as the development of work in parallel and synonymous sectors that benefit the industrial sector.

Shipment Tracking

It is noteworthy that MODON had earlier signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Public Authority for Transport, to link systems, track shipments, organize and follow up the activity of transporting goods in industrial cities, while it succeeded in attracting many qualitative logistical investments.

It also signed a contract to allocate an area of ​​30,000 square meters in the industrial city of Arar with a company, aiming to establish a logistics zone, cooled and dry warehouses, and handling areas that contribute to maximizing the returns of the national economy by stimulating the commercial movement and transporting goods in transit to and from Saudi Arabia due to its proximity to the ports border.
